We were frustrated with the complexity of other room mate finder services.

  • Why should you be required to sign up for an account just to enquire about a room listing?
  • Why would you want to use a site's custom-built messaging system when you have a perfectly good email address?
  • Why are you presented with a thousand options when all you really want is to contact somebody?

ausroomies.com.au tries to do away with all the garbage and focus on enabling roomies to find one another -- and then we get out of the way.

Our service

Our basic service is completely free when posting a listing or contacting a roomie. We also offer any combination of premium listing options for which we charge a small fee. e.g. you can change the background colour of your listing on the search results page.
